Refund Policy

We want you to love DFS Academy. If something isn't working — both literally and figuratively — we'd rather hear from you than leave you frustrated. Here's how refunds work.

1. The 7-day promise

If you sign up for a new monthly or annual subscription and decide within 7 days that DFS Academy isn't for you, email hi@dfsacademy.org and we will refund the most recent charge. No survey, no “please reconsider” loop. We just want to know what didn't click.

2. Cancel anytime, keep access until the period ends

Outside the 7-day window we don't issue prorated refunds for partial billing periods. When you cancel, the subscription stops auto-renewing — you keep full access through the end of the period you already paid for. To cancel, open Settings → Manage Subscription; that opens Stripe's billing portal where you can end the subscription in a single tap.

3. Annual subscriptions

If you cancel an annual subscription after the 7-day window, you keep access through the end of the annual period and we do not refund unused months. Annual plans are discounted on the assumption you're here for the year.

4. Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, we'll notify you by email. Stripe will retry over a few days. If we can't collect, the subscription is paused and access is suspended until the card is updated. Once you update your card from Stripe's billing portal, access is restored immediately.

5. Duplicate or accidental charges

If you were charged twice, charged after canceling, or otherwise believe a charge was made in error, email hi@dfsacademy.org with the date and amount. We resolve clear errors within a few business days.

6. Donations

Donations made through the donate page are non-refundable, except where required by law or if a donation was made in error (e.g., wrong amount). If a donation needs to be reversed, email hi@dfsacademy.org.

7. How to request a refund

Email hi@dfsacademy.org from the email address on your account with a short note about what happened. We'll reply within 2 business days. Refunds appear on the original payment method within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
